
Bond traders are testing Kevin Warsh: The Fed chair will heed—but not be ruled by—them, says an economist who spent years sitting next to him

Chicago Booth's Randall Kroszner, Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics, joins Fortune to comment on Federal Reserve Chair, Kevin Warsh, and his reaction to rising Treasury yields. In Warsh's new tenure as Fed Chair, Kroszner has noted that concern and skepticism come with the territory. Despite this, Kroszner has noted there is confidence that Warsh will be keeping a keen eye on the markets, without being a "slave" to them.
